General Statement of Lifetime Guarantee & Legal Disclaimer

For the purposes of this page Leadfoot Racing Ltd will be labelled as LFR, Leadfoot or Leadfoot Racing.

Warranty coverage only applies to work done on street vehicles. Any work done on vehicles that partake in any type of motorsports activities is done so without warranty coverage. Street vehicles that partake in motorsports activities void any warranty originally in place.

Leadfoot Racing does supply parts that are designed and fabricated for all uses. Use of these products/work in motorsport applications is at the consumer’s own risk.

All rebuilt engines are considered a motorsports item and treated as such for the remainder of this disclaimer.

We guarantee, your custom built manifold installed to your vehicle is warranted against defects in workmanship, this warranty applies only to the original purchaser who owns the vehicle on which it was originally installed unless a vehicle transfer has been agreed, (see below) during which you remain the registered keeper of the vehicle, and whilst the vehicle remains in a roadworthy condition, or for the period as defined. All guarantees are subject to the conditions and limitations set out below.

Modification to any vehicle by installing parts sold by Leadfoot Racing could alter vehicle’s on-road performance in the event of a crash, resulting in bodily harm or property damage. In purchasing from Leadfoot, the purchaser hereby assumes full responsibility in any property damage or personal injury that may occur.

Any failure due to actions outside of our control, such as: other people working on the car, manipulation of tuning data/ECU, failure to follow engine break-in procedure, running low on fluids, pre-existing problems or abuse, will be solely at the cost of the owner.

If an issue arises from our parts or workmanship, Leadfoot Racing should be the first contact to diagnose the problem. If other people work on or inspect the issue before LFR has an opportunity to, we are no longer liable for any repairs or associated costs. If LFR is the first to inspect and the failure was caused by the machining or assembly by LFR, we will either repair or replace at no cost.

Your statutory rights are not affected by this guarantee.

Maintenance Requirements

Your custom manifold does not require maintenance, and provided that the vehicle it is installed on is maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, it will remain trouble free for the lifetime of the vehicle.

Claims Under Guarantee

In the unlikely event of experiencing a defect in your custom manifold, we will repair or replace at our discretion any defective part. The vehicle must be returned (STRICTLY BY APPOINTMENT) to us where it was built for inspection.

No other warranty, expressed or implied (including merchantability), applies to the manifold, nor is any person or the manufacturer authorised to assume any other warranty. The manufacturer (LFR) does not assume any responsibility for any consequential damages occasioned by the manifold, or inconvenience or interruption in any operation whatsoever.

In order to make a claim you are required to prove purchase.

If physical or contamination damage to the system is evident including modification or maintenance from any third parties which aren’t Leadfoot Racing then warranty is void.

All costs of bringing the vehicle or collection must be paid by the customer, upon inspection if the manifold shows signs of alteration, or subjected to misuse or damage from accidents or speed bump damage then the warranty is void.

We reserve the right to charge a Minimum of £25, to a maximum of £60 for our labour and examination costs.

TRANSFER OF GUARANTEE
It is not possible to transfer the custom manifold warranty should you sell your vehicle.

The materials are excluded from Lifetime Guarantee.

Please note that all guarantees are subject to the conditions and limitations set out below.

Conditions and Limitations of Guarantee

• Surface discoloration or corrosion other than corrosion that results in leakage is not covered by the guarantee.
• Damage caused to any part of the manifold as a direct or indirect result of worn engine mountings or excessive vibration is excluded from the guarantee.
• Damage caused by physical impact of any kind, including impact with speed restriction bumps is not covered by the guarantee.
• Damage caused as a result of the failure of a rubber mounting hanger is excluded from the guarantee, unless such failure occurs within a period of 12 months from the date of installation, and has not occurred as a result of impact or negligence.
• Nonstandard use of the vehicle (e.g. competition race or circuit use) invalidates the guarantee.
• Alterations or modifications carried out to the system by any third party invalidate the guarantee.

This guarantee does not cover any form of consequential loss or damage howsoever caused.
