Jason’s ‘Just an underseal job’ Mitsubishi EVO 8
This Mitsubishi EVO 8 was a long project but it’s finished and now has some miles under its belt!
Many many different things went into this after what was originally a “quick underseal job”. With rust being found and the owner Jason, getting bitten by that project bug that made him want to seize this opportunity to spruce up the whole car.
Here’s the basic run down:
- It has had a complete rear chassis leg replaced with new metal from Mitsubishi.
- Various rust removal and repairs around the whole car.
- Full underseal with everything removed from under the car.
- New arms and poly bushes went in.
- New HSD coilovers.
- Refurbished Brembo callipers all round incl new disks and pads.
- Ali race tank mounted in the boot.
- Aem fuel pump/regulator and rail.
- Braided lines for fuel and ayc system.
- Battery relocated to the boot.
- New boost pipe.
- SAS delete.
- Ramair Filters ProRam Filter.
- Engine/gearbox/diff oil change.
- Full geometry setup.
- Headlight polish and a full clean before handing back.
This EVO is now producing a healthy 350bhp and will last many years to come! Jason is happy with the final result, and so are we.
