Curtis’ MR2 has been in and out a few times over the last year. Initially to fit some coilovers and repair the rusted floor pan to get it through an MOT.
It then came back a few months later for a custom exhaust. The new box featured 1 baffled run and 1 straight through run, which gave a quiet idle and smooth driving but howls nicely when you give it some throttle.
It’s most recent visit saw us take the engine out and send it away to be fully rebuilt. We then put the refreshed engine back in replacing all the vacuum and coolant hoses, the radiator, battery, alternator etc… the new engine runs beautifully so the owner can get back out enjoy his 30 year old Toyota!
